Description
Wetland methane emission estimates from the GEM campaign. Estimates are derived using a multi-inversion system, including analytical sectoral inversions, GMM analytical inversions, GMM-ADJ 4D-Var inversions, and GEOS-Chem ADJ 4D-Var inversions. These inversions integrate aircraft‑based observations of methane from the GEM campaign.

Spatial resolution: 0.25° × 0.3125°
Temporal resolution: seasons
Time period: 2017–2018

Variables
WETLAND_EMIS_CH4_ENSEMBLE_MEAN_GEM1: Wetland methane emissions in the Upper Midwest, during the GEM1 summer campaign. Ensemble mean of the multi-inversion system.
WETLAND_EMIS_CH4_ENSEMBLE_MEAN_GEM2: Wetland methane emissions in the Upper Midwest, during the GEM2 winter campaign. Ensemble mean of the multi-inversion system.
WETLAND_EMIS_CH4_ENSEMBLE_MEAN_GEM3: Wetland methane emissions in the Upper Midwest, during the GEM3 spring campaign. Ensemble mean of the multi-inversion system.
Others: Wetland methane emissions of each ensemble member.
